Mountain biking trails
Fruita is one of the premiere mountain bike destinations in the United States, boasting a variety of terrain that makes it perfect for riders of any skill level.
Mountain bikers can enjoy a leisurely ride on Fruita’s 18 Road trails—23 trails ranging in technicality from easy to difficult. The area has a number of great, short options, including the steep Zippity Loop and the exciting Chutes and Ladders trail.
The Kokopelli Trails connect Fruita with Moab, Utah, comprising about 150 miles of mountain biking on terrain varying from technical single track to pavement.
The Grand Valley’s Lunch Loop Trail System is the place for more technical riders. With hardly a straight section of trail in the 39-mile system, it keeps riders on their toes.
The Rabbit Valley trails offer fast, scenic single track rides that wind around the rim above the Colorado River and cross into Utah.
