Mesa County Fairgrounds
The Mesa County Fairgrounds boasts a variety of indoor and outdoor facilities.
The United Companies Arena is a great place to host equestrian or livestock events. This 27,225-square-foot, open-air arena provides views of both Grand Mesa and the Colorado National Monument.
The Mahindra Arena is a large, open-air arena with a roof available for equestrian, livestock, and other activities. The arena is 31,250 square feet.
Expo Park features rich turf and a metal-roofed, 40-foot hexagonal gazebo on a concrete pad. The gazebo has electricity, and the park is illuminated at night. Vendor power is available at the base of each light pole and can accommodate up to seven vendors with power and water.
The Arboretum is a garden filled with native Western Colorado and Eastern Utah plants. A wheelchair-friendly walking path meanders through this 600-foot-long garden and leads to a small amphitheater that can seat up to 200 people.
The Orchard Mesa Lions Club Park is a 2.19-acre space with covered pavilions, a playground and restrooms.
The Grandstands has a main arena, a practice arena and a pit area. Seating is fixed but additional bleachers can be brought in to increase the seats from 2,500 to 3,000. The Grandstands are fully furnished with an announcer’s booth, stadium lighting, a PA system and rodeo chutes and corrals. The complex also includes a lobby with concessions and restrooms, participant and equipment parking and parking for spectators.
