James M. Robb State Park
The James M. Robb Colorado River State Park is made up of five unique river- and lake-based sections. The park offers water access to the Colorado River for hand-propelled, sail- and electric-powered boats, and has a variety of year-round fishing opportunities, including quiet ponds and river waters.
There are class IV and V whitewater rafting sections downstream through the stunning Ruby Horsethief canyons.
The Fruita section of the park is within riding distance of the Kokopelli Mountain Bike Trailhead and several other classic mountain bike trails.
James M. Robb’s Fruita section has 63 campsites, including 22 full hookups, 22 electric sites, 13 tent sites and a group camping area. The campground is open year-round, as is the centrally located camper services building, complete with showers and laundry facilities.
